I can see that from listening to "Elizabeth," which is kind of an outlier in their catalog IMO, but is one of the best live Die Kreuzen tracks I could find.

The band I kept thinking about was Das Damen. Talented hardworking band that wrote original music that was just a step ahead of its time.
