Ah Jim, you know me... easy prey for a love story and I love this one. I've already been crying about another sort of love story this morning, so forgive my messy note here as I say congratulations to you and Nuvia and hold the WTF moment in my heart.
Hey Travis! That's great you'll be in SD! I'm sorry I won't be there. Catapult is a great indie bookstore in a great neighborhood in South Park with a very cool record store called Vinyl Junkies almost across the street and a cool art gallery called Trash Lamb around the corner. South Park also has some of the best Italian food in SD at Buona Forcetta and a great vegan restaurant called Kindred (food is reasonable but the drinks are pricey). For used books I love Verbatim in North Park. And Barrio Logan has a great combo of bookstores (Libelula, Strange Daze) and records (Beatbox) and Mexican food (El Carrito, El Cuatro Milpas, Salud) all on Logan Avenue.
Hey. Hate to bug you. Taking family on vacation to your neck of the woods. Can’t believe we are seeing Dodgers play the Yanks tonight and then south toward San Diego. Any advice for a visitor from the northwest? If I could hit one record and one book store in the greater San Diego area, what would be your advise?
Thanks for sharing and congrats on you and Nuvia’s sixteenth wedding anniversary.
🫶Congratulations! 😊
Gracias!
Congrats! Here's to many more years, and plenty of trips to the ocean.
Thanks, Kevin!

Thank you, Judy. We're both a couple of softies!
Congratulations, Jim and Nuvia! And here's to another 17 years of love, stories, and WTF moments together. 💗📚🌊
Thank you, Angie!
RTR for the win.
Indeed!
