Yes, I talked to him at length. He's working as a contractor, still does the occasional acting gig (he was in Dead Souls) and has a documentary in the works.
It was great meeting up Friday, Jim, thanks for the conversation! The whole night was awesome aside from that stagediving dipshit, dropped like a bag of cement. Looking forward to picking up The Repo Code next year
So a fun min-tour chronicle. Couldn't make it to Texas from Brooklyn for these events, so this is a fun way to get a little taste. Hopefully the mini-tour will not be so mini in the future. And of course, The Repo Code... so in. (Pinging a few people we know how might know some people who know some people with good Repo Man stories).
I myself saw Repo Man for the first time in Santa Cruz in one of two small art-house movie theaters called the Nickelodeon (RIP - close down a few years back). I think it was a midnight show. There was only about 60 seats in the theater it was showing in. The front row was two side by side couches -- prime seats. We smuggled in 40s of Ole English. First of about 50 times i've seen it. Gave the 'plate of shrimp' speech in speech class my senior year.
Ah, the stories I could tell you, about repo man & JFK, but, it would hafta be off the record, which no one is ever interested in, really, so I’ll just hold my mud…I look forward to the book on repo man, tho, that sounds like a great read…
One thing that popped into my head while watching the movie... What the hell happened to Dick Rude? Will he be interviewed for the book?

I was thinking the same thing
All in for The Repo Code.
Thanks, Anthony! BTW your card went out yesterday.

As you can tell... psyched for the book.
Great stuff, man. Looking forward to Repo Code.
Thank you, Tim! Much appreciated.
All this is awesome, Jim. And congrats on the new book!
Great meeting you, Jim! And Gary was there? I'd have loved to shake his hand!
Likewise amigo! He was indeed. He left moments before I bumped into you!
Great read. Thanks. Look forward to "The Repo Code" in 2027. Take care.
Thanks, Travis!

I'm going to have to lock you in a room and get your stories, Razor!
As long as it’s off the record, the last time I let someone listen & live I got roped into this disaster…

So tell me about the voice scrambler 😂
Thanks, Aug!
I did not get past the title yet. I literally listened to that sound track every day for three years before high school.
