GJ 367b is not to be fucked with:
This “super Mercury,” which orbits its star once every 7.7 hours, was first discovered by NASA’s TESS planet hunter in 2015. Now, scientists from the University of Turin in Italy and the Thüringer Landessternwarte in Germany have examined more recent measurements of the planet using ESO’s HARPS spectrograph along with the original TESS observations. They found that this object is almost twice as dense as Earth—which suggests it is most likely made of solid iron.
The indigenous people of North Sentinel Island are not to be fucked with:
In the fall of 2018, the 26-year-old American missionary traveled to a remote speck of sand and jungle in the Indian Ocean, attempting to convert one of the planet's last uncontacted tribes to Christianity. The islanders killed him, and Chau was pilloried around the world as a deluded Christian supremacist who deserved to die.
Sean Bonney’s poetics of wrath are not to be fucked with:
Although he wasn’t widely read in the United States and although his lyricial idiom is strongly British and even more strongly European, Bonney’s poetry is as fully commensurate with the fevered, queasy, anxious, often tedious nature of the current global mood as that of any of his more lauded contemporaries. Bonney’s poetry is not of the graduate seminar but of the picket line, not for the poetry reading but for the punk show.
